Fall Soccer Updates – September 2nd

Week Two – Everything seems to be moving right along and players are having FUN with games and player development sessions! There are A LOT of different things coming up that you’ll want to get on your calendars.  Don’t forget that U8 team assigned this week and next week for concession stand duty.

September is Youth Soccer Month – Go to to find Youth Soccer Month info.

Fun Pasta – This is our annual Fall FUNdraiser.  CASA has had a big success with this event as it has great holiday gift giving idea options and who doesn’t love PASTA with soup & chilly season around the corner.  U6 – U12 players will be handed a FUN PASTA selling packet (U6 this Sat & U8-U12 next week Mon/Tues) Selling can begin as soon as you get your packet.  The great thing about this FUNdraiser is there is a WEBSITE where family and friends across the country can place an order in a CASA players name and it is delivered to their front door.  Free shipping for orders over $75.  Local selling packets will be due Sept 29th at the concession stand.  This fundraiser will help with equipment and facility items for the CASA program.

Parking at PILC (Sept 6th & Sept 13th) – Parking is going to be busy on Sept 6th and Sept 13th with U6 games at 10am and High School games at 11am.  Please find a parking map for quick reference.  We’d like to keep things safe and fun for everyone these two busy Saturdays with increased traffic.

U6 parents please park on the WEST SIDE of soccer complex, using the Concession Stand as the Mid-Point; please also use the N/S streets of Garfield, Arthur and Cleveland.  The EAST side area and EAST parking lot of the complex will be needed for High School parking.

High School Games – We invite U6 parents and players to stay for the High School Games on Sept 6th and Sept 13th.  School Gate Fees are in place:  $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for kids or bring your Activity Pass with you.  Don’t forget to make plans to stay for kicking off Homecoming Week on Sept 13th with games and Drive for Kids event.  With the great MEAL DEALS at the concession stand, make plans to hang out for the day.

Drive for Kids (September 13th) – Dodge and Wegner Auto are providing CASA with the annual Drive for Kids Event.  CASA has the opportunity to earn $5,000 where the only thing we have to do is test drive a new Dodge vehicle and Dodge donates $20 per driver back to CASA.  Must be 18 years and older, bring your driver’s license and DRIVE.  Team up with 2-3 drivers at a time to get those drive numbers registered.  Make plans to attend U6 games at PILC at 10am and the HS games starting at 11am, with a Drive for Kids Test Drive in between.  Each family adult is encouraged to drive sometime from 10:30 – 1:30 on September 13th for this event.

Thank you to all the Referees working the CASA games this fall season.  Keep up the great work!

Have a Great, FUN fall soccer season!
