Fall Soccer Housekeeping:
Information (CALENDAR) (DIVISIONS) (PARENTS) are found on the website and mass emails.
Weather Related Cancellations will be posted, emailed and announced on radio by 4pm each game night. Games are NOT rescheduled.
Clothing - As the weather begins to cool off, please have a designated Soccer Bag with long sleeves, pants, hats and gloves for eveing games.
Responsibilites - Everyone (players, parents and coaches) is responsible for goal safety, field clean up and approperaite behavior.
Concession Stand Duty per team. Coaches will let REC teams know what night and time to assist. HS parents sign up at Hilgers.
Jerseys are for Games ONLY, they are NOT to be worn to school. (Soccer Cheer Gear can be worn during special events)
Communication Ladder - Parents, Coaches, Coordinators, Coordinators, Board.
New Referees - we have a dozen new refs this fall that will be learning the game along with the U8 players and coaches. Any questions regarding refs/reffing can be directed to Terry or Kim. You can also ASK A REF on the Referee Tab on the website.
GOV & LADY GOVS - Kick off the Fall HS Soccer Season - TOMORROW and SATURDAY at HOME. JV games start Friday at 4pm and Saturday at 11pm - V games start Friday at 6pm and Saturday at 1pm @ Hilgers Soccer Fields. SEE YOU THERE! GO GOVS!

FALL SOCCER - August 3, 2012
Fall Soccer Awards/ Picnic / Season Kick Off – This Sunday, August 5th @ PILC soccer fields at 5:30. Potluck Picnic, Presentation of Awards, Kick off HS Soccer and Find out what team your child is on. Come Out and enjoy a night of Soccer and Celebrate a Successful year as we move into a new year of soccer.
6:00 pm—Awards Presentation
6:30 pm—HS Kick Off
6:45 pm—Parent Meeting / Meet your Coach
The potluck has been organized by family last names:
A-H: Bring a Hot Dish
I—P: Bring a Salad
Q—Z: Bring a Dessert
Please bring a chair or a blanket.
High School Soccer – All Physical and Permission Forms were DUE August 1st. Players CAN NOT participate in tryouts without the Physical form in hand to coordinators. If you have not turned this in, please call the team coordinators TODAY to make arrangements for ALL Paperwork!
High School Tryouts – Govs/Lady Govs Soccer Tryouts start August 6 – August 10th. Go to HIGH SCHOOL tab for locations and times per team.
Fall Rec Coaches – ALL coaches and asst coaches MUST fill out the Background Check form On-Line before you will get your team roster. Team rosters will be sent out before the picnic. You can also pick up your equipment and jerseys after the picnic on Sunday. If you miss the Sunday pickup, you can stop Monday or Tuesday between 630-730pm at soccer fields.
Fall Game Schedules will be posted the week of August 19th on the front page of website. All weather related announcements will be posted on the website, radio and email by 4pm game days.
COKE Fundraiser – August 5th @ CASA Picnic & August 11th Community Wide. CASA, Soccer Booster Club and COKE have teamed up for a COKE Fundraiser. Stock up on your favorite Coke products and support soccer at the same time. Pre-Order HERE.
Jersey Sponsorships – CASA will be replacing some worn jersey sets this fall. If your family or business is interested in sponsoring a set of jerseys, submit the sponsorship form. Jersey sets are $500 each and will feature your business logo. Jersey sets last 5 – 10 years for many players to use.
Calling All Alumni –We are planning a celebration all CASA's history and high school soccer alumni. Register as an administrator, ref or high school player at the ALUMNI page. We are in the very early stages of organizing this event in the next couple years. If you or you know someone that has played HS soccer in Pierre, forward the ALUMNI PAGE to them. Register today!
